Musee Rodin : a cultural landmark 500m from the Hotel de Suede

The Musee Rodin is a real treasure trove of art! This magnificent private mansion dating from the beginning of the 18th century, is easily accessible from the Hotel de Suede. It houses not only the work of Rodin the sculptor, painter, drawer and photographer, but also the treasures of Rodin the collector. The artist effectively gleaned over the years a host of assorted objects, often antiques, from Greece, Rome and the Middle East.

After admiring these thousands of works, you can amble through the 3 hectares of gardens of the Hôtel Biron, which shelter numerous sculptures by Auguste Rodin, as well as savour some refreshments in the splendid museum café, popular with Parisians.
